Multi-Facial
This is a sculpture I made last year, fired and then painted with underglazes. I didn’t really know where I was going with this, but I knew I wanted to make something trippy, weird, chaotic, and with a lot of faces. I remember that I just kept adding faces. When I put this together on Photoshop, it kinda reminds me of a punk rock-retro vibe. It kinda just came together naturally. The name Multi-facial comes from the fact that we have many faces in day-to-day life, whether it’s happy to sad, or maybe sad to sad. Everyone has their flavors to it, I suppose.

This is one of those things I’d be looking at every times I saw it from a different angle. Awesome!
The Photoshop image looks like the cover of an album that I probably would have listened to over and over and over again in my teens (and revisited regularly in the decades after that).
